My fields are development, econometrics, and applied microeconomics with a focus on urban issues (as intersecting with environment and health). My research focuses on external validity of experimental and non-experimental causal inference methods, specifically how to make externally valid causal effect predictions and on developing-country firms and cities, emphasizing detailed modeling of informality and environmental and health impacts.
